The United Food Bank and Services of Plant City Mission & Vision
The mission of the United Bank and Services of Plant City is to provide assistance for the needy in moving them from a state of hunger and impoverishment to self-sufficiency, empowerment and self-reliance.
Our vision is to stamp out hunger in East Hillsborough County and raise the standard of living for the truly needy. Offering opportunities for self improvement, education, job skills and job readiness is paramount in enhancing life for individuals and families; thus affecting change for the community.
Volunteer at the United Food Bank of Plant City
United Food Bank is a volunteer driven organization. Senior citizens, students needing community service hours, church groups, civic organizations are welcome to volunteer time at the United Food Bank to help with client intake, stocking shelves, bagging groceries for clients and helping with special events.
United Food Bank has numerous volunteer opportunities. We are always looking for volunteers or volunteer groups, either on a one time basis or on a regular basis.
